It turns out they were right about global warming
It's 70 degrees here in New York and it's only January 6.
And here I thought I'd turned my back on good weather by choosing NYC over SF.
Nah. Well, they do have nicer beaches.

Wow, New York, I'm packing my shorts and straw hat and flip flops and checking airline prices. Seriously, what is it with the weather. A friend of mine was chosen as one of a 1,000 to attend a Global Warming Seminar where Al Gore was the main speaker. She is totally impressed - I can't wait to meet her to talk with her further! She is now trained to do seminars on Global Warming under his non-profit or whatever it is.
i do have to admit that i was a little bummed it never got cold when i was there
i was looking forward to a few days of real winter... but it's supposedly going to drop down to the 30s here in texas later this week
