Wednesday Confession
Last night when I woke at 1:03 am and peered down to the edge of the bed where one of the cats was blissfully snoring away? I was jealous. And yeah. I nudged him a little until he woke up. (Why do I keep posting images of Janus and none of the other three? Because I love him the mostest. I'll be a fickle Mama, just you wait and see.)

So you woke your cat just because you couldn't sleep? You big meanie! Did you wake up this morning to find a fresh furball in your slippers? You would have had that been Cat.
Janus is gorge-a-lug (which stands for "gorgeous" chez Red/*): love his green green eyes. But the other puddy tats also need some loving, yes?
I say good for you! Wake the little bugger up! My cats continuously wake me at 4am each morning. It annoys me that they can fall asleep almost instantly at any given time. Why should they be so lucky and I be made to suffer alone? I too am guilty of having a favourite too...do you think the other cats realize this?
red: nah. he's a good guy. he sleeps either at my feet or beside my bed everynight and normally when i wake up he senses it and comes over for some loving. he is pretty but the others are even prettier. (he's the scrawny runt if you can believe it.) i'll post some pix tonight when I get home from yoga.
karen: yes, well, this is the cat who, for the first five years of his life, routinely woke us up at 4 or 5... still, some nights he's the one up at 4 scratching the walls and meowing at some ghost of brooklyn past.
plus: he sleeps all day and only wakes up (oh so lazily stretching one paw out) at about 6 at night.
he's got the same gentle look as my maine coon......suppose yours has some ancestry from Maine? My maine man used to wake me up at 4:00 a.m. also, ruining my bedroom window screen with his saber claws.
