Pictures Of The Stinky Flower That Didn't Smell At All
Over the weekend we went to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens to see the rare titan arum in full bloom. Here are two pictures of the Sumatran native. (Apparently we arrived too late for the unusual rotting-meat smell the flower produces....)

Wow, I would have liked to have seen that. I love tropical flowers - they are so interesting. You probably didn't miss much with the raw meat smell. :(

Oops, boy that sure looked like Little Shop of Horrors for a second. What an amazing plant, yikes!
What an odd-looking thing, no? Does it smell nice after it sheds the rotting-meat effect?
